Foreman dropped his gaze to his feet, smirking to himself at Amber's greeting. If it was just for show, he'd probably find it trite or corny, but she said it with the same casual honesty that she'd used all night. Damn, she was good. Made him feel exactly as sexy as she said--not that he usually had many doubts on that score. Foreman pushed the door open and let it shut behind him, walking the few feet to her front door. He tried the handle, although usually he'd knock first. Manners before assumptions. In this case, though, after the rest of the evening, it seemed redundant. "Hey yourself," he said warmly, dragging his gaze over her, admiring everything he saw. Returning the compliment in a glance. She looked amazing, and more than just her appearance, it was the flush on her cheeks, and the provocative interest in her eyes. First things first. Foreman slipped his coat off his shoulders and hung it on a coat stand just inside the door. The living room looked warm, homey, and Foreman was impressed by that, too--even if Amber was keeping up a doctor's ridiculous hours at the hospital, she still had time to actually live in her apartment. It was comfortable, and had a clear sense of her personality. No-nonsense but undeniably alluring. Foreman raised his eyebrows at her, then, and waited to see what Amber would do next. Foreman wanted her to feel comfortable and in control, not that he had any worries that she'd let this happen any other way; mostly, he was curious, and hoping she felt like he did, that the preliminaries had already been more than adequately addressed.
