Amber had a few more bites before stopping, stomach filled, leaving maybe a fifth uneaten. The Denver omelet really was too intense for breakfast-- though if they were going to compete at basketball, it was a good thing she'd loaded up on a solid meal. Eric had a physical advantage: in tennis shoes they'd be the same height, but he was stronger. Fortunately, basketball was a game where speed counted, and Amber might have the upper hand there.
